The area is open from April to the end of October and with its position and location encourages trips around the area. You can rent a motor boat, sailboat, fishing boat, electric bike, if you are an avid fisherman, you can try your luck right in the bay below the resort. There is a mushroom pickers’ paradise in the surrounding forests, come and see for yourself.

The Orlík reservoir on the upper reaches of the Vltava is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after tourist and summer recreational areas in the Czech Republic.
Originally a Gothic castle, later extended in the Renaissance style. After 1802, when it burned down, it was restored by Schwarzenberg. In the middle of the 19th century. neo-Gothic rebuilt.
The royal castle was founded in the 13th century, renovated in the Renaissance style, and has been used economically since the 17th century, and is already a ruin at the beginning of the 19th century. Gradually reconstructed from 1840 on the initiative of the Schwarzenbergs.
The town of Milevsko lies on the Milevský brook on the border of Táborská and Votická vrchovina in the middle Povltaví in the district of Písek at an altitude of 465 m. It is about 12 km from the Orlická dam and 20 km northwest of the town of Tábor.
The Žďák Bridge spanned the Vltava valley near Orlík nad Vltavou less than 40 years ago. The road from Milevsko to Březnice leads along it. For tourists, it is accessible by several trails or the nature trail Zvíkov - Orlík.
